Firefighters called about a smell of gas at 10.50pm on Monday found a fire in a Dunedin refrigeration business.
Firefighters from the Dunedin and Willowbank stations forced entry when they found heavy smoke at Heatcraft Dunedin in Bombay St.
Firefighters from Roslyn Station and St Kilda Station were called when a fire in a staff room was discovered.
The firefighters extinguished the blaze, which was not being treated as suspicious.
