Race director Phil Coakes, of Dunedin, said the 160 competitors enjoyed good "pre-spring weather" for the 10km run and 5km walk.
"It was pleasing and it was good to see the family groups out there with the kids," Mr Coakes said.
The race was organised by the Caversham Harrier & Athletic Club.
The entry fee was a gold-coin donation, which raised more than $300 for the Cancer Society.
