The spill closed the street for a time.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand staff and Downer contractors were busy clearing it from the intersection of Frederick and Castle Sts yesterday afternoon.

Dunedin City Council transport delivery manager Josh Von Pein said the road was reopened by 4.50pm, but staff would check it again last night to ensure there were no issues.
