The same scooter was still in the creek at 6pm.
Another e-scooter was seen in the Water of Leith where it runs through the University of Otago campus.
In the memorandum of understanding Lime has signed with the Dunedin City Council, the company has two hours to remove a scooter from a waterway after being notified during its normal business hours.
Lime was approached for comment yesterday but did not respond.
