Twin departure: Elza and Nellie Jenkins are looking at a bright future in modelling, teaching and laboratory work.
Dunedin Nellie and Elza Jenkins are looking towards a bright future that will involve tutoring emerging Invercargill models and a move to England in March.

The Dunedin-based former New Zealand's Next Top Model contestants will soon be tutoring modelling classes in Invercargill as the firm they work for, the Ali McD Agency, expands its business.

The Invercargill classes will mean the twins travel there once a month.

They said they saw the classes as a natural development for the agency.

The twins said they were grateful to agency owner and director Aliana McDaniel, their modelling agent and employer.

"She is helping us so much, doing everything she can," Nellie said.

The models said they were planning a move to England next year, where they hope to transfer their laboratory skills and seek modelling work.

They work full-time at Southern Community Laboratories, processing specimens in cytology, and tutor young models at the Ali McD Agency part-time.

They said they hoped to find laboratory work in England so they could further develop their cytology skills.

The twins will celebrate their 19th birthday next month and have invited NZNTM judge Colin Mathura-Jeffree to attend the festivities, an invitation he has accepted.
