Driver overshoots barrier in car park accident

An elderly driver and her dog escaped injury when she lost control of her car which came to rest on another vehicle in Mosgiel yesterday morning.

The incident unfolded in the car parks of the Warehouse and New World, near Hartstonge Ave, about noon.

The woman's Holden sped over a vegetation barrier in the Warehouse car park and hit a Toyota. The woman appeared shaken. At the scene, the driver said she was unsure how the accident happened.
