A deluge struck Dunedin this afternoon, causing surface flooding in parts of the city for the second time this week.
Nervous retail staff, some of whom had water flow into their stores during Monday's deluge, prepared to hold back the water.
However, the rainfall quickly eased, and few problems were reported.
