The concrete sheep that grace Jetty St in Dunedin were looking just a little more jaunty than usual yesterday after each was provided with a knitted scarf or similar piece of attire by unknown knitters.

All six sheep were adorned with the winter clothing.

The practice of placing displays of knitted or crocheted yarn on public objects is known as yarn bombing, and is considered a form of street art.
