'Dangerous' man on run in Dunedin

Police are searching for Robert Laxon (35), who is on the run after failing to appear in Dunedin District Court.

Detective Sergeant Chris Henderson said Laxon is believed to be staying with associates in the Mosgiel area.

"He is considered dangerous and should not be approached."

If any associates were assisting Laxon to avoid arrest they were running the risk of being charged with a criminal offence, Det Sgt Henderson said.
