Two men have been arrested after allegedly shooting paint-ball guns at passing vehicles from inside their Cumberland St flat on Thursday night.
The incident occurred about 11pm.
The men, aged 21 and 20, would appear in the Dunedin District Court next week, charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm, Sergeant Wayne Pitcaithly said. The firearms had been seized, he said.
Cumberland St was the site of another incident at 11.30pm on Thursday when a 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with unlawful damage after he allegedly "karate chopped" a picket fence.
Sgt Pitcaithly said six palings were broken.
The teen was to appear in court next week.
