Whitebaiting gear worth $1000 has been reported stolen from a property on the Taieri.
Senior Sergeant Trevor Thomson, of Dunedin, said someone entered a shed and stole a whitebait net with eight two-metre poles on Sunday night.
The gear had a value of around $1000 and was taken from a shed near Marshall Rd, Henley, he said.
