A man is facing charges after running into and smashing a window in a block of flats in Dunedin.
About 3am this morning a 21-year-old man was located ‘‘after he decided to charge and break a pane glass window’’, Acting Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond said.
‘‘For whatever reason that he had, he decided it would be a good idea to run into someone’s glass window to break it,’’ Acting Snr Sgt Bond said.
The man broke the window and then loitered in the vicinity in Corrie St, Acting Snr Sgt Bond said.
He was charged with wilful damage and unlawfully on property and will appear in Dunedin District Court on November 5.
