Acting Southern district commander Superintendent Darryl Sweeney believed the items were taken during multiple burglaries late last year, and were linked to drug crime.
‘‘This will be all on the back of drug dealing, and this is what the cycle of drugs in our community does, it causes people to commit large-scale crimes,’’ he said.
‘‘We’ve got no tolerance in this district for gangs and organised crime.’’
Items found included a motorbike and building gear.
No drugs were found at the property during the raid.
One person has been arrested and charges were likely, he said.
Police were working to track down the owners of the items, which mainly came from building sites.
