The nerves are jangling for Dunedin siblings set to perform in Australia's largest music festival.
Alyssa and Campbell Landrebe leave Dunedin today to perform at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in New South Wales.
The sweet-sounding siblings won the junior duet category at the New Zealand Gold Guitars in Gore in June last year.
Campbell (12) won the junior category singing Billy Gilman's Oklahoma and his prize included a return trip to perform at the Australian festival, which begins today.
"I'm pretty nervous but excited,'' Campbell said.
To settle the nerves, he packed some Rescue Remedy to take on performance days.
The King's High School pupil has chosen Oklahoma to showcase his voice in three categories - Aristocrat Entertainer of the Year, Capital Country Music Association National Talent Quest and Battle of the Young Stars.
In the same categories, Alyssa (10) will sing Tracy Byrd's I'm From The Country.
The pair will also perform in the New Zealand Showcase, which will feature Gold Guitar 2015 senior winner Kelvin Cummings, of Dunedin, and intermediate winner Joseph Balfe, of Oamaru.
In the showcase, the siblings will perform the duets Make The World Go Away by Alison Krauss and Jamey Johnson and Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah.
Campbell will also perform in the International Roundup event.
Alyssa will busk with her brother in Tamworth on Thursday.
"Campbell and I have never busked before, so it will be exciting.''
The Wakari School pupil's nerves were in check yesterday but she expected to share her brother's Rescue Remedy before performing.
