Police have been notified after a couch fire in North Dunedin overnight.
Firefighters from the Willowbank fire station quickly extinguished the burning couch, in the middle of Castle St, after being alerted at 12.24am.
There were no complications in extinguishing the fire, and the matter was referred to police, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said.
