The colourful cast of Phantom of the Opera appears for a photo call at The Regent Theatre in Dunedin.
Tickets to the show are selling so fast the producers have added an extra performance to the schedule.
Ticketing manager Lynda Wright-Sear said evening shows were scheduled initially for September 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26, and a matinee on September 20. But an extra show had been added, on September 23.
Mrs Wright-Sear believed tickets were selling quickly because Phantom had never been seen in Dunedin before and it was ''probably the biggest iconic musical ever produced''.
''This is the bucket-list musical - the must-see.
''If you're going to see anything, this is it.
''It's got romance, it's got murder, it's got pyrotechnics, it's got everything.
''There are still loads of good seats available, but it's selling really fast.''
