Churches unite for cross walk

Parishioners from various Dunedin churches march  down North Rd bearing a cross on Good Friday yesterday.

Northeast Valley Baptist Church Minister Steve O’Connor said the cross walk, which was first held about 30 years ago, involved parishioners from Anglican, Baptist, Catholic and Presbyterian churches.

The walk "had a good feeling about it" and included four stops for reflection and prayer before ending  at the Dunedin Botanic Garden.
