Emergency services attend an incident in which a child was injured after being struck by a car in St Kilda yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said they were advised of the incident in Auld St, St Kilda, at 9am.

"Fortunately the car appears to have been travelling at a low speed and the child is reported to have sustained only minor injuries," the spokeswoman said.

A Hato Hone St John spokeswoman said an ambulance treated one patient, who was assessed in a minor condition, and did not require transportation to hospital.
