Cars were left crumpled after a three-car collision in Dunedin last night.
Emergency services were called to the crash just after 5.15pm today at the corner of Three Mile Hill Rd and Flagstaff-Whare Flat Rd, Halfway Bush.
A police spokeswoman said one person was trapped for a time.
The road was blocked at both ends, but has now been cleared.
There were no reports of serious injuries.
Meanwhile, a car flipped after hitting a pole in the southern part of the city this evening.
Police were called to the scene at Haywood St, The Glen, at 5.30pm.
The car was lying on its roof and a utility pole toppled over.
There were no injuries.
