Emergency services are attending a crash in Kaikorai Valley Rd where a motorist crashed their car into a lamp-post and power distribution box.
A police spokesman said the crash happened about 2.45pm today near Ash Air, between Kenmure Rd and Burnside.
The car collided with a lamp-post and an electricity distribution box, he said.
The northbound lane was blocked while technicians worked to disconnect power.
St John also attended but a woman working in a nearby shop said the driver was shaken but uninjured.
