Emergency services were called to a crash at Saddle Hill, near Dunedin, tonight.
A police spokeswoman said the incident involving one vehicle was reported about 6.40pm.
A car crashed into a fence, but no one was injured.
Two hours later police were still there, waiting for the vehicle to be towed away.
