A person has been taken to Dunedin Hospital after a car reversed across a road and down a bank in Dunedin this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said ambulance staff alerted police to the incident on Barr St in the suburb of Kenmure about 4pm.
The patient was taken to hospital. Their condition was not known.
Police were investigating.
Neighbours described hearing a loud bang when the crash happened.
