After the Uniflats team won the official intercollege tug o’ war competition, Studholme and Arana College settled their rivalry.
Josiah Lenati, 18, of Studholme College, fronted his team’s victorious effort to claim bragging rights over Arana.
Studholme resident Maddie Kay, 17, of Hamilton, said Arana was the one hall she could not stand losing to because they were right across the street from them.
"They think they’re better then us because they won something last year."

"We’ll take a podium spot. We’re humble."
She said Arana had Studholme’s dragon mascot hanging on their wall so they still had something to brag about.

Other events at the sports day included a relay, touch, netball, volleyball and backyard cricket.
