T-20 double-header tickets sold out

You are too late.

Tickets to the Black Caps and White Ferns T20 double-header in Dunedin on Tuesday have sold out.

The White Ferns play Sri Lanka in the early game and the Black Caps host Pakistan in the afternoon game.

The University Oval is the first venue to put up the full-house sign. The opening T20I double-header at Hagley Oval in Christchurch tomorrow is also heading in the same direction with fewer than 500 tickets remaining for the 8500-seat venue.

Interest is high in both New Zealand teams with the Black Caps only just returned from their run to the ICC Champions Trophy final in Dubai, while the White Ferns are embarking on their first T20I series since becoming ICC T20 World Cup Champions in the UAE in October.

Big crowds are in store when the series heads to the larger venues for the final three games of the T20I double-headers, in which the White Ferns will face Australia, the No 1 ranked team in the world.

The White Ferns opened their T20I series against Sri Lanka as a stand-alone fixture at Hagley Oval last night.

All T20I double-headers will be broadcast live on free-to-air television.
