Dunedin Casino general manager Karen Williams said the event raised $106,000, which would be donated to Christchurch.
The event was organised by the casino, with the help of the Dunedin City Council and city businesses, in a combined effort to raise $100,000.
The list of lots to be auctioned comprised goods and services: from a $1 cheque from Prime Minister John Key's cheque book to a Fender guitar, but the highest price paid on the night was for the chance to "own" the St Clair Golf Course for a day.
The winner of that item, who gets to host 80 people with all fees paid at the club, won with a $7500 bid.
A walk-on part on Shortland St for two people went for $5500, while a JJ Cale and Eric Clapton CD, signed by Eric Clapton, went for $3000.
The main prize of the evening was a game of blackjack to be played inside a helicopter above the mountains of Queenstown, plus resort accommodation. It was bid for both at the event and online, and realised $3000.
Ms Williams said 300 people attended the event, which she described as "hugely successful".
