Members of the Highland Harmony Barbershop Chorus sing to celebrate the group's 20th anniversary last night.
Dunedin's only all-male barbershop chorus and their partners gathered to enjoy a few refreshments at Standard Kitchen and sing some "polecats'' (songs which all Barbershop Harmony Society members are encouraged to learn as a shared repertoire) under the watchful eye of musical director Marian Weaver.
Organiser and bass Peter Blackwood said the group, now about 20-strong, had won a gold medal the last time they competed, in a 2016 national competition.

"We consider ourselves to be very good at our craft and sing voluntarily around Dunedin, and most recently Naseby, to raise money for their new hospital rebuild.''
Members of the chorus are (from left) Ralf Suhruba, Sean Toomey, Ian Donnelly, Evan Curry, Tom Stokes (15), Greg Walsh, Bernie Roberts, Kent Rickerby, Chris Featonby, John Kena, Wayne Alexander, Peter Strong, Brian Rea, Andrew Body, Peter Blackwood, George Huff and Peter Chamberlain.
