New Zealand's longest-running soap opera could soon feature a new Dunedin face, if McDaniel and Power Acting and Profile Management has its way.
Shortland Street casting director Andrea Kelland will be in the city next week, for the first time in 10 years, to check out the agency's acting talent. She will meet about 20 actors and actresses next Friday.
Company director Aliana McDaniel said the company approached Ms Kelland in a bid to secure "our beautiful Dunedin talent some work".
"It's really exciting. We don't get these opportunities very often," Ms McDaniel said.
