Emergency services staff tend to those involved in an accident on Three Mile Hill Rd, which resulted in three people being taken to Dunedin Hospital by St John.

A police spokesman said a red Mitsubishi was travelling down the hill about 5pm yesterday, when it slid and collided with a white Toyota travelling in the opposite direction. The Mitsubishi then spun and ended up down a bank.

The two occupants of the Mitsubishi had minor injuries, but the driver of the other vehicle received moderate chest injuries.

All were treated at Dunedin Hospital, but none of them were considered to be in a life-threatening condition, he said.
