Kypros Kypri
Prof Kypri sustained fatal injuries when he fell while cycling in Mt Cargill Rd near Waitati, about 6pm on October 21.
A graduate of the University of Otago, he received his PhD in 2003 and had been based at the University of Newcastle for the last two decades, at the School of Medicine and Public Health.
Since 2004, he held joint appointments at the University of Newcastle School of Medicine and Public Health, in Australia, and the University of Otago Injury Prevention Research Unit.
