From amazing animals to peculiar plants, the Tūhura Photography Competition, organised by the Otago Museum, attracted more than 3000 high quality images from talented Otago photographers.

The competition consists of four subject categories — wildlife, botanical, humans in nature and landscape.

The overall winner was Benny Chia.

An exhibition opened at the museum in Dunedin last night.
