Taieri Junior Cricket Club have other clubs seeing green, but it is nothing to do with the pitch at Brooklands Park.
Twelve players were selected for Dunedin age-grade representative teams from the club.
President Donna Burns said she was ''pleased for the boys'' and their success was an indication of their hard work and mirrored the success of the club on the pitch this year.
''The boys have worked hard and practised a lot and to get in the rep team is a great achievement for them,'' Mrs Burns said.
''I think all our teams are doing really well.''
Part of the reason for the club's success was the number of players it attracted.
''We have good numbers,'' she said.
''We have an extra team [in the competition this year].''
The club also had 10 girls playing for its teams, which was heartening, she said.
It boded well for the club considering there were ''quite a lot of younger ones coming through''.
