The cast of Dunedin Fringe Festival show Queen (from left) Mac Veitch (22), Luke Major (19), Nick Tipa (22), Orion Carey-Clark (22), Shaun Swain (20) and Zac Nicholls (22) dance to the song It's Raining Men near the Fortune Theatre yesterday.

Director Jordan Dickson revived the Dunedin production for the festival.

The original cast will present a revised production for the festival for four nights from March 15.

The production was ''well supported'', Dickson said.

The show was produced with money from the Creative Communities Scheme, University of Otago Performing Arts Fund and a Boosted crowd-funding campaign.

''It's been wonderful to have such generous support, not just from funding bodies but also from the patrons who attended in September. It's enabled us to let our imaginations run wild,'' Dickson said.
