ALYSSA HELLER
2013: Heller was an Otago representative in volleyball and basketball, also excelling at netball and touch rugby.
She was keen to study health sciences, then pharmacy.
2023: Heller gained a pharmacy degree with distinction and is now a pharmacist at La Hood’s Life Pharmacy in Gore.
She lives with her fiance on their farm in Waipahi and plays in the South Otago netball competition.
JISU LEE
2013: Lee had limited English when she arrived in New Zealand from South Korea as an 11-year-old but went on to receive a top academic scholar award for her NCEA level 2 results and to be the school’s technology prefect.
She planned to study engineering.
2023: Living in Naples, Italy, Lee works as a Salesforce UX designer and consultant.
Her most recent project was with CVS, a United States-based pharmaceutical retail corporation, designing the interfaces of its main CRM system.
She has a science degree in computer science and information systems from the University of Auckland.
She and her husband have travelled throughout Europe with their young daughter while living in Italy for the past three years.
