Nominations are being sought for four vacant positions on the Otago University Students' Association executive in preparation for an upcoming by-election.
A lack of candidates at the OUSA elections in October has forced the student body to hold a second set of elections to fill its executive committee for the year.
OUSA is seeking nominations to fill the roles of international student representative, colleges officer, administrative vice-president, and campaigns officer.
The vacant position of colleges officer has come about after Ryan Edgar - a younger brother of OUSA president Logan Edgar - was also elected to the finances and services officer role.
The OUSA constitution prohibits anyone from holding dual roles, so Mr Edgar vacated the colleges role in favour of the finances and services officer.
Elected unopposed to the colleges position, Mr Edgar's decision to vacate the role has left the executive requiring a replacement.
Nominations open at 9am on March 12 and close at 4pm on March 15. Voting for the by-election begins on March 19 on the OUSA website, before closing at 4pm on Wednesday, March 21.
