Otago University Students' Association queer support co-ordinator Hahna Briggs had a busy day yesterday.
She organised a cupcake competition fundraiser for Alphabet Soup, a support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender teens that will run out of funding in September.
The cupcake competition raised about $60. Yesterday also marked the launch of a poster competition designed to ''raise visibility'' of the gay community on campus.
