Occupy Brisbane protesters moved on again

Police are evicting Occupy Brisbane protesters for the second time in as many days.

The protesters, who had been camping in Brisbane's Post Office Square for 18 days, were evicted on Wednesday after the city council sought police help.

They relocated to nearby Queen's Park but police moved in again this morning.

Police said they were acting on a request from the Department of Public Work, which has jurisdiction over the state government park in George Street.

Protesters have been told they must leave the park by this morning, police told AAP.

They warned there could be some traffic disruption.

It's unclear where the protesters will go but Premier Anna Bligh said on Wednesday they could relocate to Roma Street Parklands, where there were adequate facilities.
