Amy Parsons-King is in denim heaven this season.

Denim is one of my all-time favourite fabrics: it's versatile, trans-seasonal and becomes better with wear (you can't say that about many things).

This summer I'm in denim heaven as it's being used in a number of ways and shades, including pale washed-out blues and deep indigos, and in everything from mini-skirts to jackets, shorts and, of course, jeans.

Lots of designers are also being experimental with this durable fabric, leaving edges raw and frayed, distressing it and using it in unexpected ways, such as in bandeau tops and sculpted dresses.
