Hong Kong Polytechnic University graduate Hiu Ching Leung talks about her design, which will feature in this week's iD International Emerging Designers Show.
Three of the designers gave a sneak preview of one of their garments at Before They Were Famous, held at the Meridian Mall yesterday evening.
Hiu's designs were based on the idea of a "kidult'', and included children's designs.
"Kids always give me inspiration,'' the children's drawing tutor said.
Also showing their designs last night were Dylan McCutcheon-Peat, of Otago Polytechnic, and Shun Yin Wong, also of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
