The story: Our hero refuses to sit by and watch the symbiote substance (or being) turn his fellow citizens into slimy, slithery alien creatures.
The setting: New York City.
Characters: Old webhead himself, of course. Plus allies like Wolverine and Moon Knight. And Kingpin, Venom, Black Widow and the Vulture.
Interesting features: Easy toggling between red and black Spidey, and the excellent spider-sense radar system. But everything is secondary to the awesome aerial sensation of flying up and down Manhattan.
Disappointing features: Too much repetition in swinging and fighting. Plus the camera angles regularly get confusing.
Better than Batman?: Batman had a cooler car. And didn't need a web to fly.
Who might like it: Marvel comic fans.
