Maureen O'Hara, the flame-haired Irish-American actress known for playing feisty women in classics like How Green Was My Valley and  as well as her on-screen chemistry with John Wayne, has died. She was 95.

O'Hara died of natural causes on Saturday at her home in Boise, Idaho, her manager Johnny Nicoletti said.

She was surrounded by family members and listened to "her favorite music" from the 1952 film The Quiet Man, said Mr icoletti, who co-authored O'Hara's memoir 'Tis Herself'.
