Today's hamper contains top New Zealand fiction with the fantasy/horror novel Wake, by Elizabeth Knox (Victoria University Press), thrillers Police, by Jo Nesbo (Random House), and The Bourne Retribution, by Robert Ludlam and Eric van Lustbader (Hachette), and some homegrown high-country romance in Blackpeak Station, by Holly Ford (Random House).
