Perfect illustrations for sweet story

In this story, established Auckland children's author Melinda Szymanik recounts all the things that happen in the world while a young boy sleeps in his bed.

There are night creatures in the forest and on the farm, busy city streets and trucks tearing down country highways, and bakers and farmers rising early to ensure there will be bread and milk for the morning.

This is graphic designer Greg Straight's first children's book and his richly coloured illustrations are a perfect match.
