Dunedin North Member of Parliament David Clark is ready to move forward and is firmly focused on being the best electorate MP.

Dr Clark has had an up and down past few months; breach of the Covid-19 lockdown and then eventually losing the role of health minister.

But he says he is loves being an electorate MP, and wants to continue in that role in the freshly redrawn electorate of Dunedin.

He won't say whether he would accept a cabinet role if re-elected.

New Zealand is due to vote in the General election on September 20.

He's a good bloke and we need a few more of them in politics.

Seems you missed how he put himself above everyone during the lock-down, is that a good bloke?

How nice, after years in parliament he now decides that just maybe he should be working for the people of Dunedin.

Is he arrogant or just blindingly silly. Didn't we think he was working for Dunedin all along. Nope we were wrong, he was just working for himself, his mates and the party. Maybe he should just clear off and we can get someone who actually want to support Dunedin from day 1.
