A car went through a fence and ended up on private property in the Dunedin suburb of Musselburgh this evening.

A police spokeswoman said it was notified by ambulance of the crash on the corner of Musselburgh Rise and Royal Cres about 5.45pm.

No one appeared to be injured, she said.

A witness said the car was approaching the corner very fast and then went through the fence.

One ambulance and a fire appliance attended, she said.
