You may know that iTunes offers a couple of free music downloads each week to promote new albums. But there are other free things you can get on iTunes. Here's how to find them.
1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed. If you do not have iTunes, you can download free Windows or Macintosh software from Apple at apple.com/itunes/download.
2. Open iTunes and click on iTunes Store in the left-hand column. On the store's home page (I prefer to view it maximised and out of the iTunes frame), scroll to the bottom until you reach "Free on iTunes." Click "See All" to view all offerings.
3. You will find music, featurettes, TV episodes, apps and podcasts. To expand a category, click "See All" (if available) next to the category's name. You can view all available items by name or release date. Check back frequently, as selections change.
