Wool prices appear to have lost some of their earlier momentum, with falls matching rises at last week's combined sale of North Island and South Island wool.
Wool Partners International auctioneer Dave Burridge said crossbred fleece prices were unchanged, although anything of poor colour eased 2% to 3%.
Crossbred second shears fell 2% and oddments and crossbred lambs was 2 to 3% easier.
New Zealand Wool Services International manager John Dawson said of the 21,000 bales on offer, 83% sold.
Despite the more selective market, the said price indicators for the bulk of fleece wool eased just 1c a kg compared to the previous week's sale.
Fine mid micron wool rose between 5% and 8%, while the coarser end was steady.
Buyers came from India, Australia, New Zealand and China, with support from the United Kingdom, Middle East and Western Europe.
