Well the 2018 Southern Field Days Southern Man competition is set to answer this question and give all those single ladies a bit of hope that Mr Right is still out there.
The inaugural competition, in which men from all walks of rural life go head to head for the title of the Southern Man, was held in 2016.
Eight men went head to head to battle it out for the title, and organisers are now calling for the brave and bold to sign up for next year's competition.
Organiser Leonie Falconer said the competition was a great success in 2016 and they were hoping for another great turnout next year.
Mrs Falconer encouraged people to head to the Southern Field Days website and sign up.
''We are looking for eight southern men aged 18 and over who want to give it a go.''
The competition had also been condensed to be held in one day, which would be the first day of field days - Wednesday, February 16.
Competitors will test their skills in seven separate heats, each played out at sponsors' sites during the field days.
While she could not talk about the challenges, she suggested contestants look at the sponsors involved for clues.
Once the eight were signed up, entries would close.
