110 full-time and part-time jobs will be offered in April, in preparation for the store's mid-year opening.
Site preparation began last June and complex manager Mat Junge said yesterday the project was on schedule.
The store's side walls and roof are being erected.
The hardware building will have 12,566sq m of floor space, including a covered trade yard, garden centre and parking for 250 cars.
On completion it will be one of 18 large-format Bunnings Warehouses and 25 small format stores in the country and owned by Bunnings, which is a subsidiary of ASX-listed Wesfarmers.
