Since its 2006 beginnings and its first brew of one beer in Dunedin, the Grange St company has grown to three employees offering seven beers, and a further two in seasonal production, marketing manager Tom Jones said on Friday.
A distributor in Brisbane will shortly be receiving a mix of Green Man's premium pils, stout, best bitter, lager and keller lager beers.
"We're expecting regular orders to come every three or four weeks," Mr Jones said.
The brewery had previously sent a sample of beer to Taiwan last year and was at present in negotiation for orders to the United Kingdom and Denmark.
Green man beers are widely distributed at dozens of retail sites in both the North Island and South Island.
Mr Jones said the Grange St plant had the capacity for increasing its regular order with a range of new bottling, washing and labelling equipment.
Preparing the 120-dozen order for export came hard on the heels of a "big week" for the brewery, which had received its best results from a beer competition, a silver and two bronzes at the New Zealand International Beer Awards in Nelson.
Its keller unfiltered lager won the silver while the strong and whisky bock each received bronze medals.
