Otago Stadium is New Zealand's first full-covered stadium. It is the newest sporting venue in the country and contains an all-weather roof, with flexible seating layouts.
About 500 fans, including many from the Emerald Isle, turned out to watch the Ireland Rugby World Cup squad's open training session outside the Queenstown Events Centre yesterday.
The team practised their plays for two hours then attended a civic welcome in the Skyline complex later in the afternoon.
